Como cada año, la Academia de Ciencias y Artes Cinematográficas Norteamericana dio a conocer la lista de los nominados a recibir el premio Oscar, la estatuilla mas codiciada en el mundo Hollywoodense. Este año por numero de categorías nominadas la balanza se inclina hacia Alejandro G Iñárritu y su "Birdman" aunque  "El Gran Hotel Budapest" obtuvo igual número de nominaciones y otras como "The Imitation Game" "Boyhood" "American Sniper"  "Foxcatcher" "Interestelar"y "La Teoría del Todo"  son multi nominadas.
